Extra! Extra! Extra! Scraplift alert!

Welcome back to Design Dollies - for the fifth Monday in May. This week we've put together a bonus challenge for you :)

Each of the Dollies has chosen one of their favourite Design Dollies projects to share. What we'd love YOU to do is to choose one (or more, if you like) and scraplift it! You don't need to stick to the criteria of the original challenge - you just need to take inspiration from the project and create something NEW of your very own. It can be a layout, a card, an altered object, ANY crafty project that you like. Enter as many times as you like.

Here's the Design Dollies favourites that we've selected for you:

from July 2010 sketch challenge:

And of course the winning entry, chosen by random draw, will receive a prize pack  This week the prize has been donated by Karen Wray:

So... to recap ~ choose a Dollies project from the selection above, 'scraplift' it in any way you choose, then link it up before midnight EST, Sunday 5th June.  Remember to include a link back to the Dollies blog in your post ;)   Have fun!!

And just a reminder that you still have a week to get your entries in for the May Trifecta, sponsored by One Stop Card Crafts.

May Trifecta

Our April winner was LINDA with this fabulous layout about Logan's first bath:

Linda please email us with your details. The Trifecta monthly winner receives a £10.00 shopping voucher to spend at One Stop Card Crafts. Design Dollies accepts entries from crafters all over the world, so Shelley very generously includes postage worldwide as part of the prize - thank you for being our ongoing sponsor!

Here's what you need to include to go into the draw for the May Trifecta ~ create a project (ANY new project) that incorporates all three of the following criteria:

COLOURS:

Chocolate brown, white, mid-pink, dark blue
There's four colours - but you can CHOOSE ANY THREE

ELEMENTS:
Creative folds

SKETCH

We love bringing you Dollie-inspiration, so here it is for this week ~

Don't you love those bold spots and the lovely pleating?

ANDREA has been away for a holiday
but created this gorgeous layout for us before she left:

KAREN B folded some paper dahlias
(and the continuing polka dot theme is totally a coincidence, by the way!)

KAREN W:
Did you noticed that folded heart?

We've got FIVE Mondays this month, so we're giving you an extra week to link up your Trifecta creations. Remember to link back to the Dollies in your blog post, and link up here by midnight EST on Sunday 5th June.

Next week we also have a bonus challenge for the month - stay tuned to the Dollhouse!

May sketching...

I hope you've been enjoying our May challenges so far! I've got a couple of winners to announce ~ and we all love happy news :)

The winner for the March sketch was Julie Rainbolt:

Julie wins a $10 voucher to 2 peas in a bucket.

The winner for the April sketch was Tracy:

Tracy wins a prize pack containing a mix of handmade and vintage goodies
(similar to the one pictured below).

Ladies, please email us at the address listed on the left, and we'll arrange delivery of your prizes.

And now, moving on to the May sketch. This one was designed by me - Karen - and I hope you like it! I've kept it simple but you can embellish it as you wish. I'm looking forward to seeing LOTS of entries this week.

And I always love sharing what the Dollies created:

We've all created layouts this week, but you can make a card, an altered journal, a digi layout, a canvas... anything your heart desires!! All we ask is that it is a new project, and that you link back to the Dollies in your post. Linkity-link-link here by midnight Sunday EST 22nd May, and you could win a fun prize pack:
