GOOD MORNING! how was your weekend? i had some ups and some downs, but on saturday, i was a craftin' mama and it felt SOOOOOOO good! i hope many of you were able to both ENJOY the warmer, sunny weather, and get some craftin' done yourself! :)

thank you to the many people who played along with my Royal blue, Sky blue and Lime green COLOR CHALLENGE last week - what a fantastic bunch of projects for a color combination that i absolutely LOVE! good luck to everyone in the prize draw for this month!

Aren't you in love with the idea of March too? March means SPRING! And I am all over the idea of Spring! March is a busy month not only for Mother Nature but here at the Design Dollies! Not only do we have our normal Challenges for ya, 3 a week busy, but we also have a new GDT, a DT Call and Dollies to welcome and say good bye too at the end of the month. BUSY! Welcome to March Mayhem!!!!!!!

Hello all, and welcome to my favorite month of the year... Do you feel Spring in the air yet??? I don't either, lol! I WISH I did though... it's USUALLY in March when the birds start chirping at ungodly hours and the breeze starts to feel a tinge warmer. It's hard to find that optimism in the midst of all this SNOW, BUT I'm hopeful that the sun will begin to show its might REALLY soon!



SO, in honor of the pending Springtime, let's create a Spring inspired project, that features the something SUNNY predominantly (e.g., the sun, sunflowers, a pun on "sun," etc...), as well as the color YELLOW..... Here's some inspiration from the Dollies to get you going:

it's always so exciting to kick off a new month at Design Dollies, and March is HUGE! first of all, if you haven't caught it yet (despite our countless reminders - hee hee!), we are having another DOLLIE CALL! there's still plenty of time to get your info to us, with three of your favourite projects to show your style... and for those of you who are on the fence about applying, we'd love to hear from you! whether your forte' is scrappin', cardmakin', art alterin', art journallin' or macrame' (i kid on that last one), if you think you've got what it takes to be a Design Dollie, then you probably do! :)

without further ado, i bring you the very first March Color Challenge! here's what we're giving you to work with:
ROYAL BLUE, SKY BLUE, LIME GREEN


these need to be the PREDOMINANT colours in your project - add some neutrals where you have to, but keep any other colours to a minimum.... (your project may HAVE these colours in it somewhere, but that does not mean it represents the challenge well, know what i mean?)
