New colour challenge at DESIGN DOLLIES!

hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! i, Ms. l'Orange, was merrily crafting away with Adina-Dollie and her clever daughter all day saturday, getting exciting things prepared for you, and discussing some huge news that you'll hear about soonly!

as you all know, mondays are COLOUR CHALLENGE DAYS at Design Dollies, and that also means that the "Triple Threat" challenge, as Kristy-Dollie likes to call it, has ended, but i'm giving you your first ingredients for this week. today, i bring you the first challenge...

BLACK AND TURQUOISE

these must be the predominant colours in your project. you can add others, but we're more impressed if you don't. ;)

here's what your favourite Dollies have done:

Adina:

(isn't that turquoise paint swirl in the center a PERFECT focal point?! and i LOVE how she recycles the Prima packaging - it's GAW-JESS!)

Kristy:

(oh my - YUM! she totally ROCKED her card with that Hambly transparency - and that lace is HOT!)

and from me, your gracious hostess, Leah l'Orange:

we KNOW you'll be able to rock these colours, so we can't wait to see what you'll do with them! remember, the deadline is sunday at midnight EST, for this challenge, or any of the combinations this week. you can choose to combine any of our three weekly challenges to compete for each of the prizes! here's another look at this month's colour challenges prize:

so, i leave this in your capable hands, and the Dollies can't wait to see what you'll do with this lovely colour combination! GOOD LUCK!

  2. Okay, I've posted to Mr Linky. I set up a Picasa album as I didn't want to "clutter" my blog with this entry. It's more functional than beautiful. ;) But I wanted to play along with you guys anyway I could. Going to try the elements challenge now!!
